About Fir Ave Lights

We are a small light show located in a Richland, NJ.  At Fir Ave Lights, we’re all about spreading joy through a unique and interactive holiday experience. Every year, our light display transforms Fir Avenue into a glittering winter wonderland, filled with thousands of lights choreographed to holiday music. You can choose the next song in the show with just a scan of your phone!

What to Expect

When you visit Fir Ave Lights, you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking light display that dances in sync with a festive holiday playlist. As always, you can enjoy the show from your car by tuning your radio to 104.3 FM, but you also have the exciting opportunity to choose the music and make the experience your own!

Interactive Song Selection

Visitors can help shape the show by selecting the next song through a quick and easy web interface.

How It Works:

• Scan the QR Code: Look for signs posted along the street with a QR code. Simply scan it with your smartphone, and it will take you directly to the song selection site.

• Geolocation Feature: The system uses geolocation to ensure only guests physically present at Fir Ave Lights can make a song selection. This keeps the experience local and interactive for everyone at the show.

• Choose the Next Song: Browse through a selection of holiday favorites and pick the one you want to hear next!

This feature is available throughout the evening, so you can enjoy a personalized and dynamic show every time you visit.

New for 2025 at FirAveLights

✨ PixelField Display

This year we’ve added an exciting new feature to the show — the PixelField!
This animated ground display spans the yard with synchronized pixel effects that ripple, swirl, and dance along with the music. It adds a whole new dimension of color and motion to the experience.

📸 Interactive Selfie Snow Station

We’re also introducing our brand-new Interactive Selfie Snow Station!
Guests can step up to the station, press the big red button, and instantly activate a real snow machine in front of a custom-designed Santa’s Workshop backdrop. It’s perfect for family photos, selfies, and creating fun holiday memories.
